Miles Perret Cancer Services' GIVING TREE is an anual program that takes place between the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. The Giving Tree is a holiday program especially for the children in the SMILES program.
Children in this program are asked to create a "Wish List" with a few items that they would like to receive from SANTA. After we have each child's wish list, the volunteers of the center and caring individuals in the community help us to make each child's Christmas wish list a reality.
Participants in the SMILES program include any child, 15 years old and under, that has cancer OR has a parent/sibling with cancer. If you would like more information regarding this program, please contact the center.
We invite anyone and everyone to participate in helping make these children's Christmas warm and bright. All presents must be returned to the center by December 5 to ensure that Santa's Elves have enough time to wrap and distribute the gifts.
